Streetscape Painting, Signage & Improvement Scheme, 2019

Cork County Council, Cobh Municipal District hereby invites applications for the
Municipal District Streetscape, Painting, Signage and
Improvement Scheme 2019. Tenants or owners of
buildings, or local Tidy Towns Groups in the towns within
the Municipal District may apply for financial assistance
under the scheme to assist in improving the overall ap-
pearance of buildings.

There is a grant of up to 50% for individual buildings and
an increased grant of 60% for entire street applications.

A contribution to a maximum of 100% will be paid towards the cost of
materials where it is proposed the tenant / owner will undertake the works
themselves. Grant eligibility includes painting, flower baskets, shop front signage
etc.

Application forms and further information on the scheme are available from Cork
County Council Offices in Carrig House, Cobh, Co. Cork. Closing date for receipt of
applications is Friday, 14th June 2019

Vitality Cobh 2019 Mental Health and Well-Being Day

Vitality Cobh is an annual event, all about promoting Mental Health & Well-being. It
is a great fun day for all the family and individuals alike, not to be missed. The day,
which is organised by a committee of local community workers and volunteers, will
feature dozens of mental health organisations and community groups all providing
information and advice to people about how to stay well and how to access sup-
ports if needed. An important focus of the day is about making connections so we
will also be joined by a host of local community groups and organisations inviting
you to get involved in the community.

As always the day will be jam packed with free entertainment including live music,
face-painting, balloon modelers, and stilt walkers!

We look forward to seeing you all on the Prom for another truly positive, entertain-
ing and informative community event this June!

22nd June - Lions Free Community Breakfast - No charge Great Entertainment
and a free raffle
