The astute reader will have noted that these many facets of organising for sustainable futures
are all interconnected and overlapping ideas. They are the core themes that we have
identified and developed but inevitably in a VUCA world there will be other themes that we
have failed to predict. Perhaps these will form the basis of a second volume in the future!
However, as we write this book we see these facets as the core elements for change and
continuity, for sustainable futures and for a just and fairer world.
