The Double Bowline with
Yosemite Finish
As one of the most complicated knots in this book, the
double bowline with a Yosemite finish is a less com-
mon way to attach the climbing rope to a climber. But
when tied correctly, in an appropriate context (like
sport climbing in small teams), or when appropriately
supervised, the bowline is a clear and obvious choice.

Pass the working end of the rope through the tie-in
point(s) of the climber’s harness.
