OIS ART OF CANADA is a not-for-profit organization based in Toronto, Canada, focused on the promotion and
exchange of arts and culture between Korea and Canada. Through various seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and
performances, the organization has been chasing this goal since its establishment in 2018.
The mission of OIS ART OF CANADA is to provide opportunities for multicultural communities in Canada to
understand and share each-other’s art and cultural assets by organizing culturally diverse performances and
exhibitions. The organization has also fostered strong relations and cultural arts exchanges between Canada and
Korea.
- Mandate
OIS ART OF CANADA plays an essential role in:
● Organizing various activities to showcase culturally diverse artists and their artistic practices with multicultural
communities in Canada.
● Increasing the awareness and understanding of cultural diversity by planning activities with diverse historical
roots and values that leads to achieving positive social impact.
● Promoting the excellence of culture and art by providing culturally diverse performances and exhibitions in
Canada and Korea.
● Enhancing Canadian artists’ access to new opportunities by developing international networks through
international interchange exhibits and participation in global events.
● Providing art education programs for the ‘discovery and training of great artists’ for the next generation.
