On behalf of OIS ART OF CANADA, I am honoured to host the Korean &
Canadian Arts Exchange Exhibition “BEYOND” to commemorate the Year
of Canada-Korea Cultural Exchanges in recognition of the 60th anniversary
of diplomatic relations between Canada and Korea.
Under the theme of “Beyond”, the exhibition will introduce both countries’
remarkable art worlds beyond the nation, race, culture, and era. It will
provide an opportunity for the public to understand intercultural artistic
creativity and diversity. It will also boost cultural and artistic exchange
activities between Canada and Korea. The exhibition will provide concrete
opportunities for participating artists from both countries to enhance their
comprehension about the two countries, and to develop a strong network
between them.
In addition, I would like to give a special thanks to participating artists
from Korea and Canada, sponsors, directors and volunteers from OIS ART
OF CANADA for their tremendous cooperation who made this possible for
us.
I hope you enjoy this journey into the magnificent exhibition.
