Internet available within minutes. You are also entitled to the original
documents. Not copies and it is not expensive to get them for you at all. Don’t
let the locals tell you otherwise. They are either lazy or incompetent or
scamming you.
Never condone confusion
Probably the biggest point here is confusion. I must warn you about confusion
for it is a well-known method to scam you. Mostly your own managers will be
guilty of this which is sad. The more confusion the more the ability to steal is our
motto. Thus no confusion is ever allowed and that is done by good
administrative skills. It is the same all over the world and there is no reason
which I can think of why confusion should reign in the first place for we have all
the computer support and software you have in your own country. After all a
filing system is worldwide the same. Don’t drop your standards just because you
are in Africa.
You know money buys the whisky and what walks? Even in Africa. So
apply it in your contracts.
Please ensure your African partner also put money in the kitty for some
countries do demand by law that you have a local African partner. It is part of
the social responsibility drive and I can tell you that by law you will never obtain
any contracts from the South African Government without a majority black
shareholder in your company. That means black women, then black men and
then perhaps white women but that is under threat. Black means non-white.
Point being that white men doesn’t feature in business with the government
under these rules so if anyone sells you a business shareholding be very careful
and make sure about the race of the seller. I know it sounds strange and it is
inherently unfair to the white man. But it is also allowed by the Constitution to
re-adjust the past inequalities or so the liberals say. This policy and crime
caused almost two million white people to emigrate in the last twenty years and
I believe the policy will never change or not in the foreseeable future. Since I
don’t work for governments in principle it does not affect me much. But you may
