Several MSC cruises, including the MSC Divina (located in Miami at time of writing), has an on-board 4D cinema. Carnival Cruises hosts the Carnival Live Concert Series on several of its fleet within the Caribbean region, with past performers including Lionel Ritchie, LeAnn Rimes and Smokey Robinson, among many others.
In addition to these broader strategies, several leading operators have looked to provide specialised cruise services, with this illustrating the extent to which operators are looking to provide cruise packages to a range of different traveller types. This is illustrated by various different services offered, with packages ranging from the family oriented services of the Disney Cruise Line to the age defined (e.g. Under 30s or Over 50s) or ‘singles’ cruises offered by various different operators.
Furthermore, certain cruise operators also offer very niche services in the region targeted at specific hobbies or lifestyles. For example:
