In our cruise research, we define steady performing areas as those which do not appear to present a barrier to purchasing but have the potential to be enhanced further to drive a higher level of purchase propensity among shoppers. Among North American & Caribbean shoppers, our research has highlighted two ‘steady performers’.
The two steady performing areas are: shopping environment and service from staff.
However, in each case, performance varies across on-board and on-land stores. This is particularly the case with staff service which at on-board stores should really be considered a ‘strong performer’.
