Providing information in cabins or the wider cruise liner area is the most preferred method of raising awareness among European cruise travellers.
Store operators should therefore ensure that each cabin is provided with information on the Duty & Tax Free offering, whether this be in catalgue form where the full product range is outlined, or in more targeted formats, such as leaflets indicating key products lines.
More general catalogues could also be supplimented with catalogues outlining more specilist areas, such as Duty & Tax Free exclusives, location specific offerings, gift ranges or promotional activity.
This strategy should also be considered by on-land store operators via providing location specific magazines handed out to travellers when entering ports. Potential to drive enagement further through incorporating wider location information such as maps and sightseeing tips.
