Our Manager
Hello, my name is Stacey.
I have over 10 years’ experience working with children and young
people, and for the past 3 years, I’ve been the ELC Manager. In this
role, I am committed to developing our early years provision,
particularly within our outdoor nursery setting. I have a strong passion
for the outdoors and truly value the many benefits it offers, especially
in supporting children’s development. During my 10 years with the
organisation, I have gained a wealth of experience in various areas of
support for children and families.
Our Practitioners Stacey Murney
Dave Holt
Dave is our Senior Practitioner and has a BSc (Hons) Zoology, The
Queens Scout Award, and has many years experience of camping,
walking and other outdoor pursuits. He has worked exclusively within
the 2-5 year old age range and believes in helping children to grow
and thrive in the natural environment, enabling them to marvel at the
wonders of the world, and to feed their natural curiosity. He also enjoys
learning about Scottish history and playing the guitar.
Jeannie Garfoot
Jeannie is our Practitioner and is passionate about the outdoors and
all things nature. She began with Simply Play in August 2023, then took
her adventures to the Woods. She loves working with children and has
proudly volunteered at her village Galaday for over 20 years. She
dreams of exploring every corner of Bonnie Scotland in a campervan
(still to be built!). Jeannie enjoys mountain walks, sunshine, and the
occasional thrill — “Skydiving was amazing, and I’m keen to try more
adventures!”
