Your Company Benefits
Mersen is pleased to provide you with this benefit guide which provides an overview of your benefit choices to help you
select the coverage that is right for you and your family. Mersen benefits add value beyond your paycheck: our benefits
may range from reimbursement plans to educational programs, but all plans require employee to assume responsibility for
the choices they make and to be informed on how to use their benefits effectively. Be sure to make choices that work to
your best advantage.
Did you know:
❖ 8% of Mersen enrolled employees did not use their medical insurance at all?
❖ only 34% of enrolled employees went for a preventive visit.
❖ the preventive care schedule is on Highmarkbcbs.com. Scheduled preventive services such as annual checkup,
routine vaccinations and WellCare, etc. are free (copays and deductibles don’t apply to these scheduled services).
It is important to remember that only those benefit programs you are eligible for and have enrolled in, will apply to you.
2023 Open Enrollment is from October 17th through November 18th, 2022.
Don’t forget to review your beneficiary designations for Basic Life Insurance in Workforcenow.adp.com, to ensure they are
current. If you have Supplemental Life, you will also want to ensure you have a beneficiary saved in ADP for this benefit as
well. Note: Paper forms are not valid and will not be honored.
For your 401(k) please also visit the myplan.johnhancock.com site to determine your retirement beneficiaries.
Take the time necessary to understand the 2023 plans, estimate your costs and enroll online with ADP no later than 5PM
EST, November 18th, 2022.
