Two men from Dinuba were arrested on Dec. 20 for allegedly downloading and distributing child pornography, says the Dinuba Police Department.
After a two month investigation, with the cooperation of ICAC (Internet Crime Against Children), investigators served a search warrant in the 300 block of North K Street, where they seized electronic devices containing child pornography.
Arrested at the home was Danny Ochoa, 30, of Dinuba. His cohabitant, Anthony Dimmick, 34, was later arrested at his place of employment in Sanger.
Detectives from the Dinuba Police Department said, as of Dec. 21, investigators were able to pull over 100 images of child pornography from the confiscated devices.
Ochoa is reportedly a bus driver for Kings Canyon Unified School District. The two were booked into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.

beaBBgun.
• A theft report was made in
the 1600 block of East El Monte Way at 6:00 p.m. The suspect were described as a female with red hair, wearing a black shirt and jeans and a male, wearing a black Raiders hat.
Saturday, December 22
• A theft report was made in the 700 block of West El Monte Way at 2:32 a.m. A subect, described as wearing a black jacket and on a bike, reportedly walked out of Walmart bottles of liquor.
• Vandalism to a vehicle was reported in the 1600 block of Austin Avenue at 12:40 p.m.
• Two noise complaints for loud music were made in the evening of Dec. 22, one in the area of Fresno and J streets and the other in the 200 block of West North Way.
Sunday, December 23
• A suspicious subject was reported in the area of Newton and Sequoia Drive at 6:51 a.m. A male subject wearing a big black and gray jacket was reportedly looking into vehicles.
• A theft report was made in the 600 blcok of North Alta Avenue at 4:42 p.m. A juvenile, described as wearing red pants, a black sweater and black shoes, reportedly stole beer from a business.
• An injury traffic collision was reported in the area of Avenue 384 and Road 80 at 7:40 p.m. The call was transferred over to the California Highway Patrol.
• Three noise complaints for loud music were reported in the evening of Dec. 23, one in the 700 block of Marshall Avenue, one in the area of Davis and Mark Drive and another in area of Michelle and Davis Drive.

Sidney Leroy Dowling
Sidney Leroy Dowling, a resident of Traver, died December 18, 2018. He was 81.
He was a hatchery foreman.
Dopkins Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
Santana Guerrero Ramirez
Santana Guerrero Ramirez, a resident of Cutler, died December 15, 2018. He was 55.
He was a field laborer.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 27 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Dopkins Funeral Chapel. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Mass services will be held Friday, December 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cutler.
Surviving family members include a son, a daughter and seven grandchildren.
Dopkins Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.

Monday, December 17
• A suspicious subject was reported near Dinuba High School at 9:28 a.m. The subject was reportedly on campus wearing a mask and walking towards apartments on First Street.
• A male and female were reportedly digging through trash cans in the area of Florence and Siena avenues. It was reported at 12:36 p.m.
• An unwanted subject was reported in the 800 block of North Alta Avneue at 4:04 p.m. A male subject was smoking close to the back door of a business and was refusing to leave.
• Five to six juveniles reportedly stole beer from a business in the 600 block of North Alta Avenue at 7:14 p.m.
• A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of Merced and L streets at 8:49 p.m. A male subject in a light-tan sedan was
reported parked in the area for over two hours.
• A noise complaint was reported for loud music in the 1500 block of Odessa Avenue at 9:52 p.m.
• A subject reportedly brandished a gun in the 700 block of West El Monte Way at 11:30 p.m.
Tuesday, December 18
• A suspicious subject was reported in the 1000 block of West Sierra Way at 9:41 a.m. A male subject was reportedly urinating in public and appeared to be trying to light a fire.
• A suspicious subject was reported in the 1900 block of Terrace Drive at 10:07 a.m. A male subject in a yellow jacket was reportedly standing on a front porch looking through windows.
• A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of Merced and L streets at 11:36 a.m. A male and female were believed to be living out of their vehicle.
• Squatters were reported in the 1300 block of East Whittaker Way at 1:05 p.m.
• A traffic collision invovling three vehicles and a school bus was reported in the 42000 block
of Road 104 at 4:12. Reports indicate the bus was not part of the initial collision and suffered minor damages after a vehicle invovled in the accident struck it. Two students were on the bus. No injuries were reported.
• A residential burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Fortworth Avenue at 4:39 p.m. A Playstation 4 and controller were reportedly stolen.
• Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of South Crawford Avenue at 6:04 p.m. A break-in was reportedly attempted at the Dinuba Junior Academy, with damage to the school's gym.
Wednesday, December 19
• A male subect wearing a white hoody, gray pants and a red backpack was reportedly looking over fences in the alley way of the 1100 block of Academy Way. It was reported at 9:24 a.m.
• A female, reportedly wearing only a bra and pants, was throwing rocks in the 200 block of Exie Lane at 3:56 p.m.
• An assault was reported at Washington Intermediate School at 5:40 p.m. A student was reportedly jumped by up to eight other students.

Edgar Mason Stell was born on May 13, 1921, he went to a better place on December 12, 2018.
He is survived by his remaining three children Ron Stell of New River Arizona, Pam Stell Trathen of Autryville, North Carolina and Chuck Stell of Eugene, Oregon. He has 12 grand- children and 21 great-grand- children.

• Shots fired were reported in the 1400 block of South Greene Avenue at 11:43 p.m. About nine shots were heard.
Thursday, December 20
• Christmas decorations were reportedly stolen from a front porch in the 1300 block of East Davis Drive at 10:09 a.m.
• A subject reportedly shot at a neighbor's window with a BB gun, breaking the window, in the 500 block of North Morningside Drive. It was reported at 11:57 a.m.
• A commercial burglary was reported in the 100 block of West Tulare Street at 1:18 p.m.
• A dog reportedly tried attacking someone in the 400 block Quail Run Drive at 2:22 p.m.
• A rear license plate was reported stolen in the 700 block of West El Monte Way at 2:49 p.m.
• A residential burglary was reported in the 1000 block of North Villa Avenue at 8:34 p.m.
• A theft report was made in the 700 block of West El Monte Way at 11:21 p.m. Five subjects were seen pushing carts out of Walmart and loading them into a white minivan.

• A fire was reported in the 200 block of South P Street at 7:56 a.m. Fire was reportedly seen coming from the top of a residence.

The Dinuba Sentinel was established on Feb. 11, 1909, then succeeding the Orosi Offer which was established on April 21, 1902, and on Jan. 15, 1917, the Dinuba Advocate. The latter, when established, absorbed The Traver Advocate, which was established Oct. 9, 1875. The Kingsburg Sentinel, which was established on Feb. 20, 1947, consolidated with the Dinuba Sentinel on Aug. 28, 1951. Reaffirmed as a legal publication under California statute and Tulare County Civil Code No. 19523 on April 2, 1928.

His life long friend Doug Newton was always there for him. His friend Erlene Westmorlin put up with dad the most. She rather enjoyed his dry sense of humor, because she could dish it out right back to him.

Jose Abdon Gutierrez passed away on De- cember 14, 2018 at the age of 91. He was born July 30, 1927 to Manuel and Felicitas Gutier- rez in McAllen, Texas. He was a kind hearted man and always willing to help. He was very devoted to God and
his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He married Rosa Men- doza in April 1957. He worked as a general/ farm laborer for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his sib-
lings: Dolores Maldonado, Hilario Gutierrez, Maria Rodriguez, and Donato Gutierrez and his son-in-law: Ruben Avalos.
He is survived by his brothers: Apolinar Gutierrez of Layton, Utah and Trinidad Gutierrez of McAllen, Texas. He is sur- vived by his children: Juan (Esther) Gutierrez of Lindsay, CA and their children: Sarah (Javier) and their sons Caleb and Aaron; Joshua (Dulce) and their children Jose, Felix, Annai, Jeanette, and Eva; Jose (Cindy) Gutierrez of Whittier, CA and their children: Candace (Richard) and their daughter Kaitlynn; Monique (Jonathan) and their sons: Adam and Ian; Christie and her sons Cameron and Christian; and Joey; Felicitas Gutierrez of Sacramento, CA and her children: Ruben (Yessika) and their daughters Angeles and Yessika and Erica (Richard) and their sons Alister and Williams; Maria Gutierrez of Visalia, CA; and Paul (Zenaida) Gutierrez of Downey, CA and their daughters Yesenia and Kiana (Bobby).

Jerry Neill

April 21, 1947 ~ December 16, 2018
Jerry Neill Rowley, age 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at the Dinuba Healthcare Center.
He was born in Visalia on April 21, 1947 to  ayne “Red” and Ethel (Sousa) Rowley. He was the oldest of three sons.
In his early years, Jerry attended school in Visalia. Later he attended school in Dinuba, where he graduated from Dinuba High in 1966. He was employed with Dinuba Uni ed School District for twenty years before retiring.
Jerry is survived by his brother Daniel, Sister in law, Monica, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and brother Wayne.
Jerry will be remembered as a bright, kind person whom lived a simple life.
A Visitation will take place  ursday, December 27, 6:00-8:00 pm at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel, 1700 W. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, CA.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 28, 10:00 am with the Praying of the Rosary at 9:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1908 N. Court St., Visalia, CA; Burial will follow at Visalia Public Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA.
