The Dinuba Sentinel Community Thursday, May 16, 2019 | A7 Cutler-Orosi community leaders honored
                                         The best of the best from Cutler and Orosi were recognized at the 70th Annual Community Awards Night’s “Celebrating Our Stars” was held on Friday, May 10 at the Veteran Memorial Hall in Orosi.
The event is presented by Cutler-Orosi Club as the family and friends of the recipients were in attendance. The welcoming message was delivered by Lion President Chad Widaman and Tulare County Board of Supervisor Eddie Valero spoke as well.

Bayardo (Health Professional Award); Brian Garcia (Junior Achievers Award); Marianela Fraga (Woman of the Year Award). Not pictured is Marissa Quezada, who received the Juniors Achievers Award.

Michael Alvarez, second from left, received the award for Community/Public Service Organization of the Year on behalf of the Changing Minds One at a Time Foundation. He is pictured with the foundation's board members. The organization focuses on keeping at-risk youth out of the prison system by instilling a work ethic. The foundation's signature program, 'Mending Fences and Changing Minds', allows youth to learn about, and work on, a horse ranch.
   This year's Cutler-Orosi Business of the Year was Orosi's Family Dollar.
