The Pirates (14-6-4, 8-0) hosted Sunnyside on Senior Night on Feb. 6, and could clinch then with a win and loss by second place Hoover at third place McLane.
Reedley travels to Fresno to take on the Patriots at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7. The match originally was scheduled for Feb. 4 but was postponed by rain and wet field conditions.
Last week, the Pirates blasted McLane (5-0 on Jan. 29) and Fresno (4-1 on Jan. 31). Miko Sunamoto scored two goals against McLane while Emma Mulligan had two goals against Fresno.

Reedley appeared headed to a shutout victory as the de- fense clamped down. But late in the match, the Warriors' Angel Armendariz convert- ed on a centering feed that dribbled into the net. But the Pirates were able to prevent any other serious scoring threats in the final five min- utes.
The title-clinching win against last-place Reedley was a methodical perfor- mance in the rain, with the Pirates converting for two goals in each 40-minute half.
Reedley played at third place Sunnyside High in Fresno on Feb. 6, with a vic- tory giving them a perfect 10-0 league record.

team rolled to the North Yosemite League championship at Sunnyside High in Fresno on Feb. 1, compiling 86 points to easily beat out the runnerup Wildcats. The Pirates had champions in senior Jamilynne Gonzalez (116 pounds), junior Danha Cruz (137), senior Odalis Banda (150), junior Kamari Perez (160) and junior Esther Villa (170). Second place finishers were junior Yael Ocampo (101), freshman Jocelyn Bar- rera (121) and junior Mariah DelBosque (126). This week, Reedley competes in the Central Section tournament which began Feb. 6 and concludes on Thursday, Feb.
7 at Lemoore High School. Top qualifiers advance to the state tournament on Feb. 22-23 in Bakersfield.

Reedley had a cold shoot- ing night in the loss to West Hills. Fouls were also a prob- lem as three of the eight Lady Tigers in uniform fouled out and another finished with four. Both teams combined for 52 fouls, 29 on the Tigers.
Barlow netted half of her game-high 18 points in the third quarter for Reedley.

Winston Williams, sophomore forward- center, scored 20 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in a road win at Dinuba as the Eagles won twice to clinch the Central Sequoia League championship. Williams has provided an inside presence for Immanuel, which is going after a sixth consecutive Central Section title.
