Cruise Night in Downtown Dinuba
Downtown Dinuba along South L Street between Kern and Ventura streets was full of classic and restored cars as part of the Cruise Night on June 10. That was followed by the Cars in the Park event on June 11 at Rose Ann Vuich Park, with Jim Trujillo's vehicle winning the Best in Show competition.

new well, but any drill- ing of less than 1,000 feet is considered only a temporary fix due to the depth of neighbor- ing wells. The cost to drill to 1,000 feet is esti- mated to be more than half a million dollars.
There also are re- strictions of a well be- ing more than 100 feet from interments and 25 feet from the front property boundary which severely limit the district's ability to locate a new well.
Because of these and pending state water re- strictions, the district will receive public input for alternative design ideas that would not in- clude grass.

Sanger police detec- tives who were in the area spotted the two vehicles speeding into the parking lot of the Sanger Post Of- fice, located at 724 O St.
Detectives, who were in an unmarked car that was equipped with lights and siren, observed the driver — later identified as 27-year-old Jeremiah Lee Nunn — exiting the black SUV and then strike the other vehicle multiple times with a baseball bat. The detectives confronted Nunn and identified them- selves as police officers.
Police said Nunn then got back into his vehicle and rammed the detec- tives' car before fleeing the scene and heading south. Detectives started
