Senior Luncheon
You’re invited to join us on Tuesday, June 12, for fun and excitement at our Se- nior Luncheon! We’ll have music, food, and door prizes. “Thank you” to Ron and Car- ol Surabian, who will provide the entertainment. It will be a treat for us.

The event is sponsored by the Sierra View Homes Retirement Community, RSCI, and the Reedley Com- munity Services Depart- ment. And, “thank you” to Si- erra View Homes for provid- ing our main and side dishes.
Chukchansi Getaway
Join us on our next trip to the Chukchansi casino on Thursday, May 3. We only have a few seats left.
The cost is $17, which includes $15 free play with photo ID. To sign up, come to the Phil Hudson Senior Room at the Reedley Senior Center on weekdays, 9 a.m. to noon. You’ll also have to sign a waiver form. The cen- ter is at 100 N. East Ave.
Payment accepted through check or money or- der made to the City of Reed- ley. The trip is sponsored by the Reedley Community Ser- vices Department.
On the day of the trip, please be at the senior cen- ter no later than 8 a.m. We will return around 3:30 p.m.
Morro Bay / Cayucos Getaway
We’re heading to the
coast on Friday, Aug. 3, to Morro Bay and Cayucos. The cost is $30 (lunch is on your own).

Beschloss at FSU on April 30

Michael Beschloss, an award-winning presidential historian, will discuss “Lead- ership in American Politics” on Monday, April 30, in the Save Mart Center at Fresno State.
The program will start at 6 p.m. His appearance is part of the President’s Lecture Series featuring prominent figures.
The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Beschloss is a best-sell- ing author of nine books and a New York Times col- umnist. He also is an Emmy Award-winning contributor
to NBC News and the PBS NewsHour. He also studied leadership at Harvard Busi- ness School.
He will discuss “the most brilliant successes and the most lethal mistakes made in American politics and what lessons can be learned,” ac- cording to a Fresno State news release.
Beschloss’ books include, from 2007, “Presidential Courage: Brave Leaders and How They Changed Ameri- ca: 1789-1989.”
The series is sponsored by The Fresno Bee, Valley PBS and KSEE TV 24. Park- ing at the Save Mart Center will be free.
