Elementary School added fifth grade teacher Shelbi Alfred. Three teachers were added to the ranks at Wilson Elementary School. Those teachers are Jennifer Villegas, third grade, Tammy Stegall, kindergarten, and Christa Prendez, in the school’s Resource Specialist Program (RSP).
Kennedy Elementary School also added three more to their staff. Starting this year will be Katrina Rios and Edgar Segura, both fifth grade teachers, and Melissa Garcia. Lincoln Elementary School added two teachers this year, kindergarten
teacher Jessica Bayne and Jamie Thomas in RSP.
Roosevelt Elementary School also added two more staff members, Stephanie Amodo, RSP, and Michael Jimenez, sixth grade teacher. And Grand View Elementary School added third grade teachers Henry Ralston and Rafael Cisneros.
If you include new Washington Intermediate School principal Jesse Sanchez, who moved over from Wilson, there are five new faces at the junior high level. Matthew Casado will be teaching English Language Arts. Linda Wilson, a product of the Dinuba
Joint Unified School District, will be the new Physical Education instructor. Brandon Davidson will take over the art department after long time instructor Craig Tomlinson retired last year. And Kenan Baker will be taking over the music department, replacing Dave Hebert, who also retired last year.
