LEGAL NOTICE OF LANDS WITHIN THE ORANGE COVE IRRIGATION DISTRICT UPON WHICH STANDBY CHARGES OF SAID DISTRICT ARE DELINQUENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that below is a list of parcels of land embraced within the Or- ange Cove Irrigation District upon which 2018 standby charges levied by said District are delinquent and remain unpaid. Said list also shows the name of the assessee(s) the amount
of standby charges and penalties due on such lands.
ASSESSEES ARE REQUESTED to carefully examine said delinquent list and report errors to the of ce of the Orange Cove Irrigation District, 1130 Park Boulevard, Orange Cove, CA. 93646.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the amounts opposite the description of each parcel of land listed denotes in dollars and cents the standby charges and penalties due thereon for 2018, and that the parcel numbers referred to below are the assessor’s parcel numbers of the re- spective counties in which the land is situated.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that unless the delinquent standby charges, together with penalties as shown in the list described below, are paid at the Orange Cove Irrigation District of ce by 12 noon on the 14th day of September 2018, the lands upon which such standby charges are a lien will be sold to the District for nonpayment of the delinquent standby charg- es and penalties.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that subsequent to the sale of the land to the District for delin- quent standby charges, it may be redeemed by the redemptioner, the person whose estate has been sold, or his successor in interest within three years from the date of sale, or, there- after before a Collector’s Deed of the property has been delivered by the District, by paying the amount of standby charges against the property with the delinquent penalties thereon, standby charges subsequent to sale, together with interest on such standby charges as are delinquent and the penalties thereon at the rate of nine percent per year from the date of delinquency. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ORANGE COVE AMENDING Chapter 5.12 OF TITLE 5 OF THE ORANGE COVE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO CONFECIONARY WAGONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE COVE DOES OR-
DAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 5.12, Section 5.12.080 of Title 5 of the Orange Cove Municipal Code is repealed.
SECTION 2. Chapter 5.12, Section 5.12.080 of Title 5 of the Orange Cove Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
5.12.080 - Confectionery wagons.
Confectionery wagons, push carts or other vehicles used for sale or offering of ice cream, soft drinks, candies, prepared foodstuffs or other foods for immediate consumption and shall pay a license tax as speci ed in Section 5.16.330. All vendors included within this sec- tion shall operate their business only between the hours of eight a.m. and eight p.m and then the hours of eight a.m. to nine p.m. in the summer months an, however, the businesses shall be permitted on Park Blvd., E Street or G Street, between Anchor Avenue and Hills Valley Avenue on private property only with the written consent of the business owner at that property, and, the written consent has to be  led with the City. The operation of the businesses in any manner other than that provided herein shall constitute a nuisance and an infraction.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is authorized to cause this ordinance or a summary of this ordinance to be published in a newspaper of City circulation in the Reedley Exponent, a newspaper of City circulations published and circulated in the City of Orange Cove, within  fteen (15) days after its adoption. If a summary of the ordinance is pub- lished, the City Clerk shall cause a certi ed copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance to be posted at City Hall at least  ve (5) days prior to the meeting at which the ordinance is adopted and again after the meeting at which it is adopted. The ordinance shall become ef- fective thirty (30) days after its adoption.
