feels people need to know suicide is a serious thing, and we need to bring light to the matter. People also need to know that there is a way out of dark times in our lives, and it shouldn’t end in self harm or suicide.
Samantha would like to be Miss Dinuba because even though Dinuba isn’t her first home, it’s an amazing place. She wants to represent
her community the best way she can by showing people that they can also fall in love with a city as great as Dinuba. Samantha feels that although pageants are a little out her comfort zone,
she wants to show our youth that anything is possible, and we should all shoot for the stars no matter how far they seem.

ierra Gonzales is the 17 year old daughter of Cynthia Garcia and the late David Gonzales. She is a senior at
State University, Fresno and study Psychology. Sierra’s goal is to become a School Psychologist.
Sierra’s platform is “A Secret that can Destroy Lives.” She chose this platform because her family has been severely impacted by alcohol, which resulted in her father’s passing. She wants to raise awareness of the effects of alcoholism since this preventable disease is often swept under the rug. Sierra would like to bring to light support services that are available for those who may be struggling with addiction.
Sierra would like to be Miss Dinuba because she would love to be a positive representative and role model for all of Dinuba. She would also like to share her platform with her community. Participating in the Miss Dinuba pageant has been a dream of hers since she was a little girl!
