• A hit and run was reported at Taco Bell in the 700 block of North Alta Avenue at 12:02 p.m. The suspect vehicle was a black Hyundai Sonata.
• A possible DUI was reported in the 1000 block of North Alta
Avenue at 5:28 p.m.
• A report was taken of a loud party in the area of North Per- ry Avenue and East North Way at 10:14 p.m.
Friday, January 1
• Seven reports of fireworks or shots fired were received between 12:07 a.m. and 12:21 a.m. at various areas around the city.
• A tree was reported on fire near an alley at East Merced Street and El Monte Way at 12:48 a.m.
• Six noise complaint reports were taken in the city during times ranging from 12:27 a.m. to 3:14 a.m. All related to loud music, and one claiming a loud party was occurring.
• A person reported hearing five or six shots fired from a white vacant house in the ar- ea of Alta Avenue and Peony Drive at 4:03 p.m.
• Officers responded to a re-
port of subjects setting off aerial fireworks in the 200 block alley way between H and I streets at 4:34 p.m.
Saturday, January 2
• A non-injury traffic acci- dent was reported in the 10000 block of Avenue 416 at 1:04 p.m.
• A reckless driver was re- ported in a green vehicle in the 2100 block of East El Monte Way at 7:26 p.m., driving on the wrong side of the road toward Orosi.
• Unknown subjects were re- ported throwing eggs at pass- ing vehicles in the area of South O Street and West Kern Street at 7:46 p.m.
• Shots fired from a possible 9 millimeter weapon along East North Way was reported at 7:56 p.m.
• A man reported at 11:16 p.m. that another man went to his residence in the 900 block of
East North Way with a bat and gun.

• Flames and smoke were re- ported coming from the back of a corner residence near East Magnolia Way and South Mil- sap Avenue at 11:33 a.m.
• A fire was reported in the backyard of a residence in the 1100 block of Alexandra Drive at 12:59 p.m.
• A woman reported at the Dinuba Police Department at 1:50 p.m. that a male subject earlier had groped her at a friend's house in Visalia. The case was referred to Tulare County Sheriff's Office.
• A woman reported at 6:09 p.m. that a subject stole her cell phone from her hand and took off running in the 200 block of South K Street.
• A fire was reported on the second floor or a structure in the 42000 block of Road 80 at 7:24 p.m.
