NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Sections 65090 and 65091 (Planning and Zoning Law) of the Government Code; and, pursuant to the procedures of Title 10 of the Reedley Municipal Code, the Reedley Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the following:
1. Environmental Assessment No. 2022-6: pertains to the determination that Conditional Use Permit No. 2022-2 is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15332 (Class 32/Infill Development Projects) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines.
2. Conditional Use Permit Application No. 2022-2: pertains to the request to apply for a Type 47 Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) License which would allow for the sale and consumption of beer, wine, and distilled spirits on the premises of a proposed 5,200 square foot Denny’s restaurant located at 955 East Manning Avenue. Alcoholic beverages are proposed to be served during the following hours: 8am-12am Sun-Thurs, 8am-2am Fri-Sat in the Indoor Dining Rooms and Bar; and 8am-10pm Sun-Thurs, 8am-12am Fri-Sat in the Outdoor Patio. This location currently maintains a Type 41 License, allowing for the sale and consumption of beer and wine on the premises.
3. Site Plan Review Application No. 2022-9: pertains to the interior improvements for a 5,200 square foot Denny’s restaurant in place of an existing 5,273 square foot Chinese restaurant (Manning Chinese Buffet) located at 955 East Manning Avenue. The existing standalone building located in the Town and County Shopping Center is proposed to be modified, including roof upgrades and an approximately 504 square foot outdoor patio addition facing Manning Avenue. The Denny’s restaurant is proposed to be open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
