The Alta District Historical Society honored Newton & Sons Realty this past Sunday for celebrating their 100th year in business in Dinuba. The ADHS White House hosted about 50 community citizens to help recognize the company's landmark achievement. Debbie Newton presented the history of Newton & Sons and a display of pictures and articles will be up at the White House during the month of December.

• Eusebio Ruiz Gomez, 35, of Dinuba was booked on Nov. 26 on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance, vandalism for damaged property and petty theft, all misdemeanors.
According to police, he was contacted in the 1800 block of Franzen Way after he was detained by the reporting party for stealing a bicycle. He was booked and cited and released with a promise to appear in court.
• Bethany Leeann Domenici, 19, of Dinuba was booked on Nov. 26 on suspicion of obstructing a public officer, a misdemeanor.
Police say officers made concact with her at Rose Ann Vuich Park as she was preparing to smoke marijuana. Officers say it was also discovered that she had an active warrant for her arrest for possession of a controlled substance. While conducting a search for further contraband, police say she grabbed a baggie from her coin pocket and immediately placed her hand inside her pants to hide the baggie.
She was booked and transported to the Tulare County Jail.
• Maggie Lopez Vega, 44, a transient of Dinuba was booked on Nov. 27 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Officers say she was contacted in the 1000 block of North Alta Avenue after it was reported that she was at a place of business there yelling at clients and staff and pushing chairs. After making contact with her police say she displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
She was booked and transported to Tulare County Jail.
• Joseph Andrew Padilla, 28, of Dinuba was booked on Nov. 29 on suspicion of battery to a spouse or date, a misdemeanor.
According to police, he and his ex-wife were in a verbal argument. During the fight, officers say he pushed the ex-wife twice.
He was contacted in the 1100 block of Ramblewood Court where he was placed under arrest and transported to the Tulare County Jail.
• Carlos Manuel Pinadias, 24, of Orosi was booked on Nov. 29 on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance, providing false information to a police officer and driving without a driver's license, all misdemeanors.
Police say he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 9500 block of Avenue 416 and gave officers a false name upon contact. He was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and also found to have an active felony arrest warrant for vehicle theft.
He was booked and transported to the Tulare County Jail.
• Misael Valencia Perez, 30, of Dinuba was booked on Nov.
30 on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, a felony.
According to police, the victim stated he punched her twice in the face after an argument over a phone. He allegedly struck the victim with a closed fist.
He was arrested in the 1400 block fo North Crawford Avenue, booked and then transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Ramiro Almonte Garcia, 49, of Cutler was booked on Dec. 1 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and being in possession of unlawful paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
Police say he walked into the lobby of the Dinuba Police Department asking for an FBI agent. He was found to be in possession of a pipe and meth.
He was arrested and later
transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility for housing.
• Beatriz Perez Vasquez, 36, of Dinuba was booked on Dec. 2 on suspicion of battery to a spouse or date, a misdemeanor.
According to police, she was contacted at her residence in the 500 block of Harvard Avenue after receiving a report of a physical altercation. Officers later determined that she struck her husband in the face with her hand.
She was arrested and transported to the Dinuba Police Department for booking. She was later transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility for housing.
• Holly Lynn Mahoney, 32, of Bakersfield was booked on Dec. 2 on suspicion of grand theft, a felony, and being in possession of a controlled substance and driving without a driver's license, both misdemeanors.
Police say officers responded to Walmart for a report of a subject who was taking a cart full of merchandise. She reportedly walked out the door with the cart without paying and fled the area in her vehicle.
Officers stopper her in the 1400 block of El Monte Way, where she was positively identified in a field show up. The total value of the items taken was estimated at $976.
She was arrested, booked and then transported to the Tulare County Jail.
• Kayla Marie Regalado, 29, of Dinuba was booked on Dec. 2 on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, a felony.
Officers say she was arrested after police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 800 block of First Avenue.
She was arrested, booked and later transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
