Sentinel staff report
Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff's Office have identified the man found in a canal in the area of Ave 416 and Road 106 in Sultana Monday as 61-year-old Enrique Ramirez Zuniga of Dinuba.
Detectives have not found any of Enrique’s family members in the area and are asking for the public’s help to locate them.
If anyone is a family member of Mr. Zuniga or knows someone who is, please contact the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office at 559-733- 6218.

Downtown trash cans upgraded Sentinel staff report
The city of Dinuba Public Works Department recently replaced the trash cans in the downtown district.
The older cans were easily accessed by transients, causing problems for downtown merchants. The new cans are more secure and add an updated look to the downtown walkways.

Monday, March 18
• A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of North Crawford Avenue at 10:41 a.m. The vehicle was described as a black Charger with gold rims.
• An injury traffic collision was reported near the intersection of West El Monte Way and Euclid Avenue. A semi truck reportedly went head-on with another vehicle, causing a road blockage and possible injuries.
• Two juvenile boys were reportedly trying to jump over a fence to a house in the 200 block of California Avenue. It was reported at 2:42 p.m.
• A residential burglary was reported in the 1300 block of North Crawford Avenue at 10:14 p.m.

Tulare County Sheriffs are investigating a shooting in Cutler after two men showed up to the Tulare County Fire Station in Cutler with gunshot wounds on Thursday.
On Mar. 21, around 11:35 p.m., TCSO Deputies were called to the 12900 Block of Sierra Ave in Cutler for a report of several people being shot. Deputies arrived on scene and were told both victims had been taken to the Cutler Fire Station
Francisco Hernandez Figueroa
Francisco Hernandez Figueroa, a resident of Orange Cove, died March 23, 2019. He was 62.
He was a farm laborer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at El Buen Pastor. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Mass will be held on March 30, at 8 a.m. at El Buen Pastor.
Surviving family members include two sons, five brothers and five sisters.

Catalina Pedraza
Catalina Pedraza, a resident of Visalia, died March 23, 2019. She was 62.
She was a supervisor.

TCSO Detectives determined both victims, described as an 18-year-old and 23-year-old, had been shot while standing in front of a home in the 12900 Block of Sierra Ave in Cutler. A motive for the shooting is still unknown and no suspect information is available at this time. One

Surviving family members include her spouse, three sons, two daughters, two brothers, four sisters, and seven grandchildren.

Robert “Bobby” Pedregon Jr.
Robert “Bobby” Pedregon Jr., a resident of Porterville, died March 19, 2019. He was 54.
Mass service will be held on Thursday, March 28 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Cutler.
Surviving family members include his

• A theft report was made in the 300 block of East Kern Street at 1:48 p.m. Air pods were reportedly taken from the parking lot of Dinuba High School's south campus.
• Vandalism to a vehicle was reported in the 800 block of First Avenue at 4:15 p.m.
• A non-injury traffic collision was reported near the intersection of Alta and Nebraska Avenue at 4:21 p.m. The accident reportedly

• A subject wearing a hoody was reportedly looking into vehicles in the 1200 block of Harriman Avenue at 2:10 a.m.
• A commercial structure fire was reported in the 42000 block of Road 62 at 2:49 a.m.
• An assault, possible rape, was reported in the 1400 block of West Adelaide at 7:07 a.m.
• A commercial burglary was reported in the 2100 block of East El Monte Way at 9:11 a.m. A back door to a business was reportedly pried open.
• A theft report was made in the 500 block of North Crawford Avenue at 11:40 a.m. Yard equipment was reportedly stolen from the area.
• Two subjects were reportedly doing drugs in a public bathroom
in the 200 block of South L Street. It was reported at 7:31 p.m.
Thursday, March 21
• An unwanted person was reported in the 1400 block of North Crawford Avenue at 12:04 a.m. A subject, described as bald and wearing a gray shirt, reportedly kept knocking on a door and was believed to be intoxicated.
• A manhole cover was reported missing in the 200 block of West Tulare Street. It was reported at 11:14 a.m.
• A customer reportedly tried to use a counterfeit bill in the 100 block of East El Monte Way at 1:50 p.m.
• A theft report was made in the 400 block of East Tulare Street at 4:45 p.m. A wallet was reportedly stolen from Wimpy's.
• A trespasser was reported in the 1200 block of Tuscany Drive at 9:54 p.m. A male subject was reportedly seen entering a vacant residence by lifting a garage door.
• A fire was reported in the 1100 block of Golden Way at 10:59 p.m.
Friday, March 22
• A suspicious subject was reported in the 300 block of East El Monte Way at 12:50 a.m. A subject was reportedly seen in an alley possibly trying to get into a house.
• A suspicious subject was reported in the 800 block of North Alta Avenue at 8:35 a.m. A subject was reportedly yelling in the alley.
• A suspicious subject was reported in the 100 block of West Merced Street at 10:01 a.m. A passenger on a bus was reportedly in possession of a gun. It was unknown whether it was real or a toy.
• A suspicious subject was reported in the 1000 block of Euclid Avenue at 10:35 a.m. A male subject was reportedly screaming and cussing on the front yard of a residence there.
• A male subject was reportedly throwing stuff onto the road while standing in the middle of the street at 11:13 a.m.
• Three transients reportedly cut the chain to a gate behind the transit center. It was reported at 8:37 p.m.
• Shots fired were reported in the 1800 block of East El Monte Way at 9:53 p.m.
Saturday, March 23
• Three noise complaints for loud music were reported in the early hours of Mar. 23. Reports were made in the 300 block of East Tulare Street at 12:38 a.m.,
the 800 block of First Street at 1:28 a.m. and the 600 block of East Kamm Avenue at 3:11 a.m.
• A fire was reported in the area of Crawford and Nebraska avenues at 4:39 a.m.
• A rear license plate was reportedly stolen in the 500 block of North Eaton Avenue. It was reported at 9:12 a.m.
• A cell phone was reported stolen from United Market at 11:39 a.m.
• A physical altercation was reported in the area of Sierra Way and First Avenue at 3:39 p.m. The altercation reportedly involved as many as 10 subjects.
• A male was reportedly seen throwing a female to the ground and taking her bag in the 300 block of North Villa Avenue at 4:40 p.m. The subject reportedly left on a bike.
• A trespasser reportedly entered a vacant residence in the 1400 block of Magnolia Way. It was reported at 11:26 p.m.
Sunday, March 24
• A noise complaint for loud music was reported in the 1900 block of Meadow Lane at 3:57 a.m.
• A real license plate was reported stolen in the area of Crawford and Gerald avenues. It was reported at 10:54 a.m.
• Two males were reportedly in a physical altercation in the 300 block of Alice Street at 2:20 p.m.
• An assault was reported at Family Market at 4:40 p.m.

Mrs. Rose Hachigian
April 2, 1925 - March 20, 2019
Mrs. Rose Hachigian, a longtime resident of Dinuba, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2019, at the Cali- fornia Armenian Home. Rose was born on April 2, 1925, to Avedis and Yamniga Keyishian in Evanston, IL. She moved
to California and was married to her husband, Richard, for 60 years before his passing in 2007.
Rose was a homemaker and
dedicated herself to the happiness of her husband, three sons and extended family. She was involved with civic or charitable organizations throughout her life, including the Armenian Pres- byterian Church of Yettem, the Dinuba Presbyterian Church, the Alta Historical Society, Tulare County Jr. League chapter of the A.G.B.U., the Dinuba Senior Center, Alta Cemetery Board, served as an Election Place polling clerk for years, and was named Distinguished Citizen of the Year with Richard in 2005 by the Dinuba Chamber of Commerce.
She will be greatly missed by her large circle of family and friends
She is survived by her sister, Sunny Mullen, and her three sons, Richard and his wife, Linda, Albert and his wife,
Debbie, and Craig. Rose had seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on  ursday, March 28, at Dopkins Funeral Chapel in Dinuba.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 29, at the Dinuba Presbyterian Church followed by interment at Smith Mountain Cemetery.
