Hoover High on Feb. 7 at Sal Gonzalez Field. The Pirates athletic teams added five NYL
titles during the spring of 2018.
The Reedley High Pirates softball team
won their third NYL title and sixth in the past seven years. They went 9-1 in the NYL.
Reedley High also won NYL titles in badmin-
ton, girls swimming and diving.
The Reedley High Pirates boys and girls
track teams each also captured a sixth straight NYL Championships.
Immanuel High School
Immanuel High's athletic season wrapped up with the Eagles capturing three Section titles and winning two league championships in the 2017-18 school year.
In the fall, the Eagles girls volleyball team cap- tured its second straight Section Championship.
Immanuel High's volleyball team defeated the Liberty High Hawks of Madera on Nov. 11 in Visalia to win the Division IV Title.
The Eagles girls golf team won their first Central Sequoia League Championship.
In the winter, Immanuel High's boys and girls basketball teams captured the Central Section Division III Championships.
The Eagles boys team won their fifth
straight section championship and defeated Sanger High on March 3 to win the Division III title.
Immanuel High girls team also won the Division III Championship on March 7 by de- feating Golden Valley High of Bakersfield to win the title.
In the spring, the Eagles baseball team won a share of the Central Sequoia League title. They then finished runner-up in the Division III Championship game.
