Former Dinuba High, College of the Sequoias and Fresno State pitching standout, Dylan Lee, continues to hold steady in the Minore Leagues.
Lee is a member of the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, a Double AA affiliation of the Miami Marlins. The lefthander has recorded a team-leading five saves for Jacksonville and has a 2.78 earned run average.
Jacksonville has an overall record of 25-40.
Lee opened the season in Triple-A with the New Orleans Baby Cakes where he posted a 1-1 record.

City recreation softball and baseball teams are fighting to extend their seasons. In softball the top two seeds are the Lady Warriors and Lady Heet Trucking. The Lady Warriors will play Dynamite tonight at 6 p.m. at Delgado Park. The Lady Heet will also be in action as they face the winner of the Giants/Bulldogs, who played late Tuesday night. In baseball, the Rangers will play tonight at 7:45 p.m. at Delgado Park as they play either the Blue Jays or Indians. The Mets will face either the Dodgers or Marlins on June 17 at 6 p.m.

Soccer fans wanting to catch local talent in action will get a chance on June 22 at the East- West All-star match at Lindsay High.
This will be a marquee match for players throughout the Central Valley.

City of Dinuba 2019 Youth Soccer registration is taking place through June 21. Cost is $46 per child and there is a family discount (siblings) with $7 off second and $10 off third child. No refunds after Aug. 30.

DHS baseball camp

The 2019 Dinuba High School Baseball 3-day camp for ages 7-12 will be held Tuesday, June 18 through June 20 at the varsity baseball field at Washington Intermediate School.
Registration will be held at 8:30 a.m. and the camp will be from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Cost is $20. Make checks
payable to DHS baseball. Campers will receive coaching and instruction from Emperor
coaches and players.
Campers will need to wear
appropriate baseball attire and bring cleats, glove and bat, if possible.
