“I got to do everything I wanted out there to- night,” Collins said. “I got to go out there and com- pete against the best the Valley has to offer. I got to feel the adrenaline of football one last time and I also got to play with Adam and that was the ultimate way to end my football journey.”
Collins will attend Fresno City College and play baseball for the Rams.
“Playing in this game and representing Imman- uel means everything,” Collins said. “Immanuel is where I became who I am as a person. It is bitter- sweet, and I was honored to be selected to play in the game.”
Daniel Badilla, former Reedley High standout, was the starting line- backer for the City team. He said representing the school in the game was an honor. Badilla will attend Fresno State beginning in the fall.
“It felt great. It was a fun way to go out of my athletic career,” Badilla said. “It was a blast. It was an honor and pleasure to represent the town of Reedley.”
