SANGER HERALD 8A THURSDAY, MAY 3 2018 Selling Sanger in Washington, D.C.
Sanger mayor Frank Gonzalez, in the center of the photo in the gray suit, spent time in Washington, D.C. last week as part of a delegation from the Fresno Council of Governments (Fresno COG). The group is part of COG's "One Voice" program. Gonzalez had a busy trip, making calls on legislators with the One Voice group on behalf of Fresno County and additional visits to legislators, departments and agencies on behalf of the City of Sanger. See the story on the front page of today's Sanger Herald.

Lucy, a 3 year old Shep- Lucy herd/Malinois mix, has been
spayed, chipped and her
shots are up to date. She's
ready to go home with you. Lucy loves car rides, kids,
treats, playing, walking and cuddling.
Rocky, a 3 year old long- haired chihuahua, is the perfect size to sit on your lap.
JoJo, Lucy, Lily, Buster, Mary and Jane are also still waiting to be adopted.
You can call Sanger animal control officer Mario Irazoqui at (559) 618-9071
to make an appointment to meet all the dogs living at the shelter
Adoption only requires spaying/neutering and bring- ing the rabies shot up to date. The only charge is to the veterinarian, Gregory Saiki DVM.

Our weather still seems to be riding a roller coaster, a week or so of cool weather followed by a week or so
of warmer - almost hot - weather.
The only thing that is consistent right now is a high pollen count.
Both those patterns are likely to continue for awhile. So keep your sweater handy even though we're in a warm weather mode right now and
make sure you have enough hay fever meds to get you through at least the rest of spring. The shifting breezes will be carrying lots of sneeze producing pollen.
We'll probably see a few
clouds over the next couple
of days, but no more rain for
awhile. Wed
