• The Dinuba High School Class of 1969 will be having a Yard Sale Fundraiser on May 2, 3 and 4 at 1309 North Alta Avenue in Dinuba. Proceeds from the sale will be going towards the 2019 graduating class of 2019.

• The Dinuba High School Class of 1966 will be celebrating a 70th Birthday Bash on Saturday, May 4 at Richie's Barn in Visalia. The celebration will be themed as a Western venue and attendants are encouraged to come dressed accordingly, or casual.
A tri-tip and chicken dinner will be served and the event is BYOB. For more information, the Dinuba High School Class of 1966 is on Facebook and can be reached there. For more information, contact Valyn Kandarian at 591-2510 or 977-5572.
• The Alta District Historical Society will be hosting its First Annual Chili Cook-Off fund raiser entitled 'Beans, Brews and Blues' on Saturday May 25. The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at the Historical Society grounds, located at 289 South K Street in Dinuba.
The festivities will include chili tasting, craft beer sampling and entertainment provided by Rene Emilio. The event this year has room for 10 entries and signups will be done on a first come - first serve basis. The cost per team of four is $25. Individial tickets to the event are $25 for adults and $20 for minors, in advance. Tickets at the door are $30 and $25 respectively.

• The Dinuba High School Class of 1979 will be having their 40th Class Reunion on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Fort Washington Country Club in Fresno.
The event will be a business casual attire event (T-shirts and/ or jeans will not be permitted). Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment will start at 7:30 p.m. and dance will begin at 8:30 p.m.
The cost to attend is $60 per person. Payment must be received by Sept. 1, no refunds. Special hotel rates at the Holiday Inn Express on Howard St. in Fresno area availabe by mentioning the DHS Class of '79 reunion.
