Tulare County County Supervisor Eddie Valero and city of Dinuba Mayor Kuldip Thusu, both of whom reside in Dinuba, receive prayer at the 'One' event held Saturday on the football field of Dinuba High School. The event brought various churches together to pray for Dinuba.

Serenity Halstead, 8, of Dinuba has been selected to perform a solo in the upcoming 'Alice in Wonderland' in Fresno's Spring Ballet.
The Dinuba dancer will doing a solo performance as the Fairy Butterfly. The dance has been choreographed by former Miss Dinuba Stefanie Halstead.
There will be six performances of Alice in Wonderland. The show dates she will be performin in are May 3-5 and May 10-12.
The performance will be held at the Severance Balley Theater, which has a long history as the most prestigious Ballet company in the area. It is known for its long and rich ties to the professional ballet world.

Pastor Bill and Cheryl Nicolay of New Beginnings Christian Center lead the prayer for family, calling for an end to domestic violence, absent fathers, drug and alcohol abuse, poverty and homelessness. He also prayed for parents and children; that parents would make their
children their priorities and that children would honor their parents.
The final segment prayed for was that of the church, lead by Pastor Jim Susee of Dinuba Christian Church.
In his prayer, Susee reminded the people, “There are not two churches. There are not many churches. There is one church.”
The event concluded with an optional participation in communion. The event is held on a yearly basis.

Flags stationed throughout the field at Claude Hebert Stadium marked various prayer stations representing different segments of the community. Those attending the 'One' event went from station to station as they prayed for Dinuba.
