married life on the right footing,
 to prevent premature decisions to “quit
or split up “ after marriage
 to allay any fears or misinterpretations,
especially language and cultural
aspects of a relationship.
 to prevent “cross cultural”
misunderstanding in communications
and everyday activities
COURSE DELIVERY AND OUTCOMES: (a life

skills awareness course)

1. This course will be delivered by a serious of
lectures / Power point presentations/resource
notes and discussion with open forums for
question and answer sessions, with some
take away fact sheets and a final quiz matrix

2. This course aims to help you understand what
makes a “harmonious” relationship work in
your chosen country with your chosen
partner, and to make the relationship work in
the first year of marriage.

3. This course aims to go into “Your home” and
raises the everyday, mundane issues of living
together in a new country.
