FUN AT THE FAIR
On a chilly autumn morning, Saskia Duck arrived in the wildlife garden with her husband, Gilmore, and their three young ducks. Betsy instantly liked Gilmore. She found him easy to talk with, especially about business. He visited the delicatessen and take-away, and offered to stay and re-open the bakery, until she could manage alone. Sam couldn’t have wished for anything better. Betsy would have all the time she needed to care for Matty.
Meanwhile, Sam and Saskia chatted in the bakery courtyard about the wildlife garden, Mr and Mrs Weston and their children, the fairy queen, and the chickens. As a surprise, Tilly Rabbit had invited everyone back to Charlie’s home for lunch.
