Capt Geraint Evans was introduced to The Countess of Wessex alongside his father, who was one of the early QARANC Nursing Officers and transferred from the RAMC in the early 90s. Cpt Evans said: “Meeting the Countess was a highlight of this enjoyable and enlightening day for both my father and I. HRH took great interest in my inspiration to become a nurse with the influence of my father’s career.”
