Freemasonry encourages men of all ages over 18 years to join an organisation that has as its core aim; charitable intent and is based on three core values of; Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.
Our 200,000 UK members come from all walks of
life and meet as equals whatever their faith, ethnic group or position in society. For many, this spirit
of fellowship is what is valued most, making new friends and helping others. Freemasons contribute over £33million a year as one of the UK’s largest charitable givers. Raising funds largely through voluntary donations, we support individual members, local communities and global emergencies.
Chicheley Lodge No 607 which resides in Thrapston, has organised an ‘Open Evening’ on Monday 3rd October 7.00pm onwards at the Thrapston Bowls Club. Market Road.
In order to provide the opportunity for men who would like to know more about Freemasonry, how it could benefit them socially and how they could assist with charitable causes.

There has been a Freemason’s Lodge in Thrapston since 1852.
The majority of the 57 male members and guests meet 8 times a year. Once a month from September to April.
Members share 3 common factors:
Brotherly Love: Every true Freemason
will show tolerance and respect for the opinions of others and behave with kindness and understanding to his fellows.
Relief: Freemasons are taught to practice charity and to care not only for their own but also for the community as a whole. Both by charitable giving and by voluntary efforts and works as individuals.
Truth: Freemasons strive for truth, requiring high morals and standards and aiming to achieve them in their own lives. Freemasons believe that their principles represent a
way of achieving high standards in life.
