Op IRON PHOENIX. With pent up demand for ‘warfighting rehab,’ we have gradually pressed the accelerator with OBUA and live firing exercises in advance of a two-week field firing package in September. As we ready ourselves to welcome back our UN peacekeepers from Cyprus, we have started planning the next training year and stepping up our readiness. We have also mobilised Riflemen for Project TRANSFORM (reform of internal processes and procedures), Op SHADER (Iraq) and Op CABRIT (Estonia), so continually delivering on our task – to provide force elements at readiness for 20X.
