Getting out and about...
Summer is on its way and that means Charter Fair fun and frolics in the town
Whoop! Whoop! It’s June, and that means
it’s Charter Fair coming to town on the 24th! There’s so much to see, fair rides to enjoy, food to consume, games to play, tombolas to win and entertainment for all the family. So come down to the High Street and go WILD in the town – all the fun starts at 2pm (page 17).
There’s so much to do in our area this month, that we have three pages of What’s On. From country dancing to WI and Souster Youth to Volunteer Action (pages 8, 26 and 28).
Our Q&A this issue is the incredible story of Chloe Cooper, who started her work life as an
apprentice and now she runs the salon. What a brilliant achievement! Read more about her lovely village hair salon in Islip – the pictures speak for themselves (page 6).
Who doesn’t love roses? To learn more about these blooming beautiful flowers, turn to page 14, where The Barn Garden Centre shares some of their tips and advice on caring for them.
