                                LEARN, LAUGH, LIVE
Fancy joining the u3a?
Thrapston u3a is for anyone at a stage in their life when full time work, or perhaps family commitments, no longer occupy every waking moment.
A time to take up former pastimes, learn new skills and have fun meeting people.
We now have 246 members but we have room for more. We provide monthly meetings on the third Friday of the month at the Plaza, Thrapston, with a wide variety of speakers.
We also provide opportunities for our members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups. At present there are over 30 groups and these include: art, bridge, butterfly & bird watching, cake & bake, classical music, creative writing, cycling, english, family history, flower bunch, french revivers, french encore, local history, local history walks, lunches, makin’ music, nordic short walks, nordic walks, photography, play reading, science & technology, singing for fun, spanish stitchers, tai chi (2 groups), table tennis (2 groups), ten pin bowling, theatre visits & outings, ukulele, wellbeing with nature.
Why not come along to our January meeting and find out more? It starts at 10.30am and is £3 for visitors or £2 for members.
We are also having an Open Day on Saturday 3rd April at The Plaza when our groups will be providing demonstrations and displays. Look
out for further details in the March edition of Thrapston Life.
