CHARTER FAIR
needs you...
Thrapston Charter Fair has been running for over 30 years and the committee members have all been, and still are, volunteers who meet about 12 times a year.
We raise money by applying for grants, sponsorships from local businesses and
from stall bookings. Our aim is to keep this wonderful event running, but we need your help. After the 2024 Charter Fair, three long standing committee members will be stepping down. Therefore, we need some conscientious people to volunteer and fill their shoes on the committee.
We are also in need of sponsorship to
ensure the Fair continues as grants are not always approved. If we are not able to get new committee members and sponsorship, unfortunately the Fair may not be able to continue. Lindsey Burch, our Chairman, is stepping down after 20 years and we are also going to lose Karen Warman (Secretary and former Vice Chairman) and Donna Thomas (Publicity).
