MARKET
Saturday 4th February 2023
And so a new year of our monthly markets begins, bringing fresh, local food and drink to Thrapston High Street on the first Saturday of each month from 9am to 1pm!
Come for fresh fish, meat and cheeses. Fresh, handmade sourdough breads and local eggs. Local honey, preserves and chutneys. Hot
chilli sauces, dressings and jams. Cakes, tray bakes and choux pastry treats, Welsh cakes and homemade sweets and fudge. Filled flatbreads, pork pies, meat pies, quiches and homemade soups, plus much more! In season we welcome a local nursery with its plants and bulbs too. There are so many great products on offer, most made by the people you’ll meet on the stall.
We’re always looking for new stalls to join
us – we’d especially like more drink producers (alcoholic or non) and a fresh fruit and veg stall which sells locally grown produce.
Did you know? Our market is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and we give the market proceeds to good causes and charitable groups in Thrapston. In 2022 we were able to:
• support the setting up of the new Thrapston
Guides unit
• help fund a Christmas party for older
residents at Casa Suena
• donate funds to Thrapston Town Band
• donate funds to Thrapston Charter Fair Thank you for your support and continuing to support the market and local businesses!
