REGENERATING
Project Abundance
At Project Abundance, we’re transforming the
way we interact with nature, food and each
other. Our mission is simple but powerful: to
regenerate our environment, improve health,
and strengthen communities. We believe that
by working together, we can create a greener,
healthier, and more connected future and we’re
inviting YOU to be a part of it!
Based at The Green Backyard on Oundle
Road and active throughout the wider
Peterborough community, Project Abundance
offers opportunities for people of all ages
and backgrounds to learn, grow and make
a difference. Whether you’re an individual
looking to learn new skills, a business keen
to engage with sustainability, or a school or
community group eager to educate and inspire,
there’s something here for everyone.
What We Offer:
Hands-On Workshops Learn the ins and outs
of natural food production, sustainable living
and community gardening through practical,
engaging sessions. From growing your own
vegetables to creating eco-friendly solutions,
our workshops are designed to equip you with
skills that make an impact.
Volunteer Opportunities Whether you’re
passionate about gardening, looking to
give back, or seeking a therapeutic escape,
volunteering with Project Abundance is
a rewarding experience. Join our team of
dedicated individuals and play a vital role in
creating positive change.
Community Events Our events bring
people together to celebrate local food, share
knowledge and foster meaningful connections.
From seasonal markets to family-friendly
activities, there’s always something happening at
The Green Backyard.
Outreach Opportunities We work closely
with schools, businesses and other community
groups to deliver tailored programmes
that promote sustainability, well-being and
community engagement.
Through these initiatives, we aim to educate,
demonstrate and inspire small changes that can
lead to lasting regeneration. At the heart of it
all is The Green Backyard, a vibrant community
space where you can explore our market garden,
enjoy fresh seasonal produce and browse
homemade chutneys, teas and medicinal herbs
that are all grown and crafted with care.
Together, let’s reimagine how we live and
work with nature. Visit us at The Green
Backyard or connect with us to learn how you
can get involved. Whether you join a workshop,
volunteer your time, or simply stop by to see
what we’re growing, your participation helps
build a brighter, more sustainable future for
Peterborough and beyond. Help us grow a
greener, healthier Cambridgeshire – one plant,
one person and one community at a time.
