relief to those living within the River Don catchment. Whilst the PM received a frosty reception from locals, Lt Strawbridge and team warmly welcomed Mr Johnson again.
One might be forgiven for thinking that Alice Strawbridge is the Light Dragoons, for not long afterwards she was dispatched to Salisbury plain to meet and greet the PM with Sgt Hodson and 2nd Troop, B Sqn. The PM subsequently gave his piece to camera with 2nd troop in the background.
As the days drew in so B Sqn found themselves on Ex GALLOPING DRAGOON, although again in an enemy capacity providing OPFOR for A and C Sqn. The Galloway forest proved
to be cold, wet and inhospitable, but Capt Elston, Lt Norton and Sgt Metcalfe led feisty enemy teams giving the other Sqns some really valuable training serials.
Special mentions go to Sgt Hartin who, on promotion, leaves us after 3 years. He will be remembered for his quiz mastery and biltong amongst other things. Sgt Cheshire and Sgt Richardson have both moved Sqns on promotion, they will be missed. And of course, SSM Allford will be missed having commissioned and moved to HQ Sqn as 2IC. Capt Elston moves to Sandhurst as ADC to the Commander.
