MUSEUM CRISIS
Volunteers needed!
Oundle Museum is run solely by a team of valuable volunteers. Due to ill health, moving from the area etc our team is much depleted. We need at least 6, preferably 10, additional volunteers.
If you have a few hours to spare, would value a bit of company and/or have recently moved into the area and want to meet the locals, there are a number of different roles where you could help. A knowledge of history is not essential, just enthusiasm. Without additional volunteers, the Museum Committee will be forced to consider closure at the end of 2025, but we hope you will agree that the Museum possesses a great deal of vital information about the history of Oundle and is a valuable asset for the town.
Health professionals are promoting volunteering as an excellent route to a ‘feel good’ factor, so give it a try.
