2015 National Championships
2015 saw the turn of the Scottish Branch to host the National Championships.
We are in an envious position that the choice of venue is a simple one. Dundee City Council have for many years now been extremely supportive as sponsors, and see us as a valuable addition to their Dundee Flower and Food Festival which attracts thousands of visitors over the three days.
Despite a dif cult growing season, the amount of top quality exhibits from almost all of the top NVS growers from the length and breadth of the UK was a real testament to their skills.

NVS 2015 National Championships results
Peter Clark from Yarm has for many years been one of the leading contenders for silverware, and 2015 was to be no exception.
Peter took rst place in not only the main collection, but also in the Millennium Class, large exhibition onions and cucumbers.
Ian Stocks also had a highly successful Championships with red cards in the parsnip, celery and stump rooted carrot classes, with his stumps being adjudged ‘Best Exhibit in Show’.
Dundee also featured an Interbranch wheelbarrow competition which proved to be a resounding success both in terms of
competitiveness between the Branches, and also the level of interest generated by the general public.
The winners on this occasion were the Welsh Branch. A victory made all the more impressive by the fact that their fabulous display was created entirely by one person. Well done Sue McCall!
All in all an enjoyable and successful National Championships, and the Scottish Branch are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back in 2020.
