ASPT (UK) TEAM WINNERS AT PARAS’ 10

SSgt (SSI) A Jessey RAPTC

A
team of 4 were recruited from the ASPT for the
Aldershot Paras’ 10 tab that took place on 11 March
2013 in Aldershot on our beloved Training Area. The

team consisted of SSgt Jessey, Sgt Loader, Sgt Flanagan and
Sgt Manderson and the weight carried was 35 lbs.

The 10 mile route took the competitors up all the major hills

on Aldershot’s local training area and was also given an extra
kick due to the amount of rain that settled the few nights prior
to the event where water was waste deep adding extra ‘fun’.
The route was also the original Parachute Regiment 10 mile

tab conducted during ‘P’ Company.

The team’s average inish time was 1hr 29 mins allowing them
to claim the winning team trophy.
