Guide Dog Collection
Poo bags are available in packs of 50 bags at the Town Council
office. We do not charge but welcome donations. Thanks to residents’ generosity
we have so far donated a whopping £315.59
to the Guide Dogs charity since May.
Please bear in mind that dogs are
not allowed on Castle Playing Fields and must be kept on leads in the Peace Park.
Local Policing
We have recently had
a lot of interest from local residents regarding policing matters in
the town. We are
fortunate to have our
PCSO James Ferguson
available to provide drop-ins at the Town Council office. These have been well attended and take place roughly once a month. Please look out for our posters and social media posts regarding drop-in dates. If you would like to speak to James about any policing queries you have in
the meantime you can contact us at the Town Council office and we can pass your information on to him. Please note that all crimes should be reported via 999 in an emergency or via 101 if non-emergency.
