SHOOTING WEEKEND

It was really good having both A and B Companies on a joint company training weekend.
The weekend started with safety talks and famil- iarising all cadets to the Adult Volunteers.
We then split them into two groups, group one being first on the firing point while group two was going through rifle lessons.
Even after a full day in weather from all seasons, A and B Company cadets all finished smiling having passed their two star shoot; this is down to the hard work dedication and positive attitudes of all the Adult Volunteers here today.
Band helps East Hull learn new skills

East Hull detachment have been learning some new skills, courtesy of AUO Andy Mead, of the Band Detachment.
After a successful evening both detachments put their new skills to the test and played together.
After training AUO Mead awarded two very talented cadets their first stripes, Cadets Crowther and Simpson were both promoted to Lance Corporal and were very pleased.
