                                    just completed our most successful season ever, reaching the last qualifying round of the Ladies FA Cup before losing to a 4th Division team and finishing in 5th place with our equal highest points tally ever in the league. Danny. We held our annual awards
presentation evening in June 2022
for the first time in two years where
the team’s successes were celebrated,
with several trophies presented. In
July, Thrapston Town Ladies Football
Club formally took over the Thrapston
Town FC name, forming their own
committee, as the men’s team folded at
the end of last season. We now have in place a full committee, officials, and management team and look forward to another successful season in 2022/2023, playing in the East Midlands Regional Football League Diviusion1 South, facing opposition from Leicester City, Loughborough, Coalville, Dunton & Broughton, Peterborough,
history is not just hundreds of years ago but is being written today for following generations

We play our home games at the Chancery Lane ground in town with kick-off usually at 2.00pm on Sunday afternoon. Everyone is welcome, admission is free, and the clubhouse is always open.
If nothing else, this reprise of our team proves that history is not just hundreds
of years ago but is being written today for following generations. As ever, my thanks for all the comments about these articles.
