...or the Trip with a Series of Unfortunate Circumstances
The National Allotment Society, West Midlands Branch, pulled off another brilliant exhibition of allotment growing at the Malvern Spring Show, in 2022.
The branch members were well supported by the President and Head Office and for only half a day by the chair, who due to a series of unfortunate circumstances eventually found the stall after lunchtime on the Friday.
But it was a wonderful show and if you can make it, it is worth a visit.
As well as the West Midlands Branch doing well, we hope that the Northern Branch can re-invent itself following their difficulties and
misunderstandings, and come back stronger than ever. The National Society needs to be “NATIONAL”. Yes, we are all part of the regional branches but we need to act positively for the betterment of all members and the allotment movement as a whole.

We were approached by a gentleman wishing to buy land to set up allotments; unfortunately, I do not know of any land

for sale; he seemed quite enthusiastic and genuine. So, if any members out there know of any land for sale in their area of the North West, perhaps they could let Head Office or myself know about it.
