to start in the January term depending on their age and the nursery’s availability. There are morning and afternoon sessions, 9:30am – 11:30am and 12:30pm
– 3:00pm, with the option of a lunch club from 11:30- 12:30. Funded spaces are available to eligible children.

There has been a school on the Thrapston Primary School site since the 1860s. Up until August 2015 there was both a Primary and Middle School on site, but King John Middle School closed, and the buildings were amalgamated into Thrapston Primary School, which now has just under 500 children on roll, covering reception through to Year 6. The main school day runs from 8:45am until 3:10pm, though staggered start/finish times have been in place for the 2020/21 academic year due to social distancing restrictions.

The Hive at Thrapston Primary School offers breakfast, after school and holiday club care for children in Reception year and above. Children from other schools are also welcome to use the holiday club facility.
