Promotion made on visit to IRON DUKE
Congratulations to RMC Diego Marques being presented his L/Cpl’s stripe from the District Officer, Lieutenant Commander (SCC) Des Green RNR . L/Cpl Marques also received the highest pass mark in the Company.

The High Sheriff of the East Riding of Yorkshire, Jacky Bowes, invited the cadets to help out at her fundraiser to assist her appointed four charities.
It was an early start and the cadets helped out the other volunteers with the final setting up arrangements. The stage was huge, flanked by two screens and the evening entertainment was the Grimethorpe Colliery Band, the East Riding Senior Wind Band and Kate Chruscicka (Violin).
Around the area was a Tombola, a Grand Draw and a couple
of auctions. The cadets supervised the Tombola, sold flags and programmes and in general had a great time. At the end of the evening they were delighted to be invited on to the main stage and this was followed by an amazing firework display. Arriving back at the unit just before midnight, it was a memorable day!
