The Commonwealth War Graves Commission lists seven casualty records of servicemen buried in this
cemetery during the World Wars (three from the First World War, and four from the Second World War).
There is an eighth grave with no casualty record, and therefore not listed, of an unknown soldier who
died in the Second World War, and who is buried amongst his comrades.

The Polemidia Cemetery casualty records listed on the CWGC website
The War Graves Photographic Project A special link to Google Earth via the symbol of Cyprus shows
the location of the Polemidia cemetery and the other five cemeteries in Cyprus containing CWGC graves
or memorials. Photographs of individual headstones can also be supplied through TWGPP.
TheGenealogist This subscription-only site lists over 300 of the 450 or so burials in Limassol British Cemetery
(Polemidia military cemetery), and holds photos of individual headstones, noticeboard lists and grave
location map.
The Roll of Honour website lists 40 of the military burials (with a couple of dependants) at Polemidia
Cemetery and shows images of their gravestones. As at December 2013 it had no lists for any other
cemetery in Cyprus. High resolution images of each of these 40 gravestones can be downloaded directly
from this site.
